Please read these Terms of Research Access (“Terms”) carefully before purchasing from or accessing truenorthlabs.co (the “Site”), operated by True North Labs Inc. (“True North Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Research Use Only
All products sold by True North Labs are intended strictly and exclusively for in vitro laboratory research purposes. They are not intended for human consumption, veterinary use, clinical application, or therapeutic use of any kind. By purchasing any product from this Site, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- You will use all purchased compounds solely for legitimate, lawful in vitro scientific research.
- You will not administer any product to any human or animal.
- You will not use any product for any diagnostic, therapeutic, or prophylactic purpose.
- You understand that these products have not been approved by Health Canada, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), or any other regulatory authority for human or veterinary use.
2. Eligibility
By placing an order, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You are legally permitted to purchase research compounds in your jurisdiction.
- You are a qualified researcher, scientist, or purchasing agent acquiring compounds for legitimate research purposes.
- Your purchase and intended use comply with all applicable federal, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. No Medical Claims
True North Labs makes no representations, warranties, or claims regarding the safety, efficacy, or suitability of any product for any medical, therapeutic, or health-related purpose. Nothing on this Site constitutes medical advice. Any scientific or technical information provided is for reference purposes only and does not constitute an endorsement of any particular use.
4. Buyer Responsibility and Assumption of Risk
You assume full and sole responsibility for:
- Verifying that your purchase and use of products is lawful in your jurisdiction.
- The proper handling, storage, and disposal of all purchased compounds in accordance with applicable laboratory safety standards.
- Any consequences arising from your use or misuse of purchased products.
- Ensuring that you have the appropriate training, facilities, and authorizations required for working with research compounds.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, True North Labs, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:
- Your purchase or use of any product sold on this Site.
- Any misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized use of any product.
- Any reliance on information provided on this Site.
- Any failure to comply with applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.
True North Labs accepts no liability for misuse of its products. By completing a purchase, you release True North Labs from any and all claims arising from your use of the products.
6. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. True North Labs reserves the right to modify pricing at any time without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including orders that we believe violate these Terms or applicable law. Payment must be made in full at the time of order.
7. Shipping
We ship to Canada and the United States. Free shipping is available on orders above the applicable threshold displayed at checkout. Delivery times are estimates only. True North Labs is not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers, or other factors outside our control. The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that importation of research compounds is lawful in their jurisdiction. True North Labs assumes no responsibility for orders seized or delayed by customs authorities.
8. Returns and Refunds
All sales are final. Please refer to our Refund and Returns Policy for details on our limited exception process for damaged or incorrect items.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of True North Labs Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without prior written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
